Passing through Goldfield the other day with family on a road trip from Las Vegas to Seattle, we decided to pull over and walk passed The Goldfield Hotel. I've heard about it and seen it on tv, but never been there. Simply passing by it at 10am on a Thurs morning, I could feel so many things. The back had a general feeling of just hotel operations as usual, although I could feel some bad deals going on back there. The lobby, of course, had the general feel of hotel operations as well, but also felt some mischief there as well, again, of course. The saloon area felt usually nice, but felt some quarrels there as well and possibly a shoot out at one time. The upstairs had a feel of vacationing in general, yet I felt prostitution, some abuse of women-some really bad- and bad deals between men resulting in fighting and a few deaths. But, the mother load....the horrible feeling came from the basement. As I passed the basement, my head hurt, I got nauseated, my female parts hurt, felt an overwhelming need to cry...people were tortured, raped and killed down there. As a woman, I was absolutely terrified. I never even heard of Goldfield having a basement. Jeez Loueez, that's where the terror happened. I can't believe no one ever mentioned it. With all that had gone on at that hotel, the terror in the basement was so strong I couldn't even concentrate on the rest. I spoke with Mary about it, she picked up on the same thing right away- bad deals, rapes, deaths, torture in the basement- confirmed many were young women. C.A.T. will be going there soon to cleanse this place, basement first and foremost, no doubt. That energy has got to stop. Yeah, Goldfield is haunted. Word.
