Case # 2.13.09.001
The 1890 Cemetery gets its name because the first person buried there with a headstone was Anna Nimmer whose burial marker is dated December 27, 1890. The land was donated to the town in 1913 by A.J. Robbins.
Several of the townspeople are buried there along with many war veterans.
Upon heading to Sandy Valley to do an investigation into a private residence, our team got excited when we saw the cemetery so we stopped to see if we could get any activity.
The day was overcast. Off in the distance you could see thunderclouds forming, heading our way. The perfect setting to do an investigation in an old cemetery. Gathering our equipment we began doing EVP sessions and checking spots with the EMF meter. Candy was getting all kinds of spikes over the gravesite of Colonel George Bardwell. When she moved away from the headstone area the meter would grow silent. Calling us over we began to do an EVP session.
Jessica began communicating with the spirit hanging around and told it to touch Candy's head since she was hunkered down close to his headstone. Candy suddenly felt a horrible pain on the right side of her head. She stated that it felt like someone was squeezing her head in a vice. She grew shaky and sick to her stomach. Jessica told her to step away for a few minutes.
Upon noticing that Candy was pale and still shaking, I went over to her, held her hand and walked her through the process of clearing her mind and doing a spiritual cleansing to rid her of the entities touch. Unbeknownst to us, Brad had moved around with his camera and filmed the entire process. Upon completion of the cleansing, Candy When opened her eyes and smiled. She said she felt much better, a warming calmness had enveloped her.
During this time the wind had began to kick up and it was hard for us to continue with the EVP sessions. With the rain moving in we decided it was time to head on in to Sandy Valley and meet with our next client.
C.A.T. will be returning to the 1890 Cemetery. We feel that the spirits in this old graveyard have a lot to say and the one spirit was sure active that day.
Investigators- Candy, Mary and Jessica.
Producer- Brad Hartmaier
